We worked with Netflix’s global team to bring this huge activation to life to promote Chris Hemsworth’s new movie, Extraction 2. The idea was to promote the fact that “Tyler Rake Lives”. In under two weeks, we developed, permitted and produced this huge scene in Circular Quay in Sydney, alongside two other large scale concepts in case our permits were not approved in time. This ambitious project was the beginning for the launch of the brand new trailer for the movie and was broadcast on Netflix’s social channels.
Tyler Rake Lives
We projection mapped the graphics onto the ground of the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney and used a crane and drone to capture the activation. It was shot over two nights, with access to the terminal late in the afternoon. Multiple security elements needed to be put into place as the launch of the movie was confidential at the time.

Our footage was used in the teaser trailer for Extraction 2, showcasing the graphics displayed all around the world in various recognised places.
